"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
He answers prayers...things fall into place...faith sees us through. Nope --- not a teacher. A youth director at a local church!
A couple weeks ago, I wrote all the stats. New stats for my new call are a bit brighter than the mess that was finding a teaching position! 3 interviews, 2 job offers, 1 new role for me.
AND - This. Church. Rocks! Its awesome. Jeff and kids attended worship with me last week, we were so impressed. It's forward moving, uplifting, growing, there's vision, direction and a desire to do more. Wow! I am pumped. I start in 2 weeks.
What really is so, SO, SO cool about this is the position actually closed April 25. When Jeff and I went to Mpls. two weeks ago, I just called the pastor and asked if I could still send in my info, a few weeks late. He told me that they were just going to start going through applications, but if I could email the info to him ASAP, he'd definitely check it out.
There is no doubt in my mind that His hand, the Lord's hand is in this... it is not fate, its the direction that He is leading me.

Oh, Andrea, I am so happy for you! CONGRATULATIONS and certainly best wishes as you prepare for the new role He has put in place!
Love to you all!
How strange is it that we get so excited about work! I just realized that was the church that Bobbiann got married in. Just let me know if I can help out with Lisa on some afternoons.
Wonderful news, Andrea! I so much admire your faith --- You knew you would be ok.
Good luck with everything :)
Good luck tomorrow - I hope all goes well on your first day! I am so proud of you for knowing the right place was around the corner. You did it!
